Sandwell African Caribbean Mental Health Foundation is a charity which provides a range of culturally responsive mental health services mainly but not exclusively for people of Black African & Caribbean heritage who are recovering from severe and enduring mental ill health, their families, carers and the wider community.

We are seeking to employ an experienced Counsellor. You will line manage and support a trainee Counsellor.  You will need to have as a minimum a Counselling Diploma and be accredited with BACP with a minimum of 150 hours of counselling practice. Counselling sessions will be delivered primarily through face-to-face work at the Kuumba Centre. However, virtual sessions may be offered where appropriate to meet the needs of the client.
