As the festive period is upon us, please remember to reach out to us if you are struggling with your mental health.
With the dark night’s drawing in and we start to feel the colder weather – many of us may start to feel something called ‘seasonal depression.’
This is a type of depression that follows a seasonal pattern, most often starting in autumn through to winter. It is thought to be caused by reduced sunlight, which can disrupt the body’s internal clock and affect mood-regulating hormones like serotonin and melatonin. If you start to feel like this, then reach out to us – you can find out about the various support services we provide here. We are only a phone call away and will always welcome you with a cup of tea and a listening ear!
You can continue to help support us in providing these vital services by donating as little as £1.00 per month by clicking here.
