Leaving a Gift in Your Will (Legacy)

Home Investing in the future of your community & Mental Health

Sandwell African Caribbean Mental Health Foundation is committed to improving Mental Health outcomes for Black African, Caribbean people, their families, carers and the wider community.

Through gifts in wills and wonderful supporters like you we can ensure that the people who use our services continue to have access to these and receive the vital support they need through culturally responsive mental health services free of charge.

As a community we can be there for every individual living with poor mental health. The legacy you leave is as a gift to future generations and you could be the reason why someone has a shoulder to lean on in their hour of need. Did you know its costs around £432k a year to provide our services, and we simply couldn’t provide it without the support we receive from our amazing funders and those who chose to leave us gifts in wills.

We appreciate Legacies of all shapes and sizes

We appreciate legacies and gifts of all sizes and ensure that each one goes a long way in helping us to continue to support those in need. An up-to-date will is important to ensure that loved ones or special causes close to your heart are taken care of. To ensure you have a will in place and to ensure your wishes are followed through it is generally advisable to use a solicitor or to have a solicitor check thoroughly a will you have drawn up. As a charity we are VAT exempt, so this ensures the legacy you leave will go even further. We understand that your family come first, and it is paramount to priorities them. However, did you know that leaving just 1% of your estate could make a real difference to the communities we serve!
