SACMHF welcomed partners from ACCI Wolverhampton, Tamarind Centre, and Catalyst for Change for a regional systems change co-production session focused on improving outcomes for Black communities. The workshop brought together community organisations, people with lived experience, and frontline professionals to explore the changes needed across mental health, housing, employment, youth justice, and care leaving pathways. As a trusted community organisation, SACMHF played a central role in creating a culturally safe environment where participants felt comfortable sharing honest experiences and practical solutions that will help shape future partnership work and funding opportunities.
“Bringing together partners from ACCI, Tamarind Centre, and Catalyst for Change reminded us that meaningful systems change starts by listening. People spoke openly because they knew they were in a trusted space where their experiences would be understood and valued. Those conversations gave us practical insight into what communities need and reinforced that lasting change only happens when lived experience sits alongside professional expertise.”

Co-Production takes place every 3 months with the aim to have service user voices at the forefront of everything we do.
