Sandwell African Caribbean Mental Health Foundation are praised at 10 Downing Street, as part of Local Charity Champions reception. 

Last month, Sandwell African Caribbean Mental Health Foundation were invited to 10 Downing Street as part of celebrating local champions from across the country.

Patricia Johnson, CEO and Nicola Richards Conservative MP for West Bromwich East were in attendance along with many charities across the country.

Nicola Richards said: “It was a privilege to welcome Patricia Johnson to an event at 10 Downing Street recently celebrating local charity champions.  The Kuumba Centre has been a local charity champion in Sandwell for nearly 30 years and it’s wonderful that Patricia’s contribution to local mental health support has been recognized in this way.”
